Preface

Waylander the Slayer is an unlikely hero. He is a cruel man, a loner and he assassinated the king for gold. The Dark Brotherhood and the Hounds of Chaos hunt him wherever he goes and he knows his time is probably limited,

Then a mystic tells Waylander that the only way to save his nation from invading armies is for Waylander to retrieve the legendary Armor of Bronze from its hiding place deep within a shadow-haunted land. A mission he was certain to fail. But he must try, for the mystic is father to a slain king and Waylander feels guilt for the crime he once committed.
