Virgil Teodorescu was a Romanian avantgarde poet. He was a member of the Romanian Surrealist Group. Other members of this group were Gellu Naum, Gherasim Luca, Paul Păun and Dolfi Trost. Before that, in 1932 he was one of the founders of "Liceu", an ephemere Surrealist magazine. In the '50s, his poetry moved towards Socialist Realism. His only other Surrealist works after 1947 are the ones between 1968 and aprox. 1973.
