Angeline Hawkes received a B.A. in Composite English Language Arts in 1991 from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She was appointed 2007 Alumni Ambassador for the Texas A&M University-Commerce Literature Department. She has publication credits dating from 1981. Angeline's collection, The Commandments, received a 2006 Bram Stoker Award nomination. Her story, “In Waters Black the Lost Ones Sleepâ€, is featured in the 2007 Origins Award nominated anthology, Frontier Cthulhu from Chaosium. Her latest fantasy series, published independently by various publishers, is entitled: Tales of the Barbarian Kabar of El Hazzar. Angeline’s horror collection, Symphony for the Forgotten, from Daverana Enterprises, is due out in October 2008. Shades of Blood and Shadow, a New Voices of Horror collection from Dark Regions Press, is due out Spring 2009. She has seen the publication of her novel, novellas, fiction in 35+ anthologies, several collections, and short fiction in various publications. Angeline is an active member of HWA and the Robert E.
