born[1936] in Adoor,Pathanamthitta DISTRICT,KERALA.He took his doctrate in FOLKLORE in 1980 from COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, COCHIN,KERALA.He has written a lot of poems in malayalam literature.POOVUM PRASATHAVUM,KOOMPEDUKKUNNA KAVITHAKAL,MORNING SICKNESSUM PETIBOURGIOUSE KAVITHAKALUM,NATTARANGU,VEEDU ,SARPASATHRAM etc are some of his wellknown poems. He was the Principal of R.I.L.T Trivandrum and worked also as the Registrar and Reader of the famous SRISANKARACHARYA UNIVERSITY OF SANSKRIT ,KALADY, KERALA.He was also the Director of Nattarangu Folklore Academy and a member of Kerala Folklore Academy Kannur, Kerala .He also worked as the secretary of YUVA KALASAHITI, an organisation of young writers in Kerala ,in its earlier periods.
