Education at Universities of Cambridge ( St Catharine's), Hull, and London ( School of African and Asian Studies) 1960-1975 period. Worked teaching in English secondary schools, 1964-1978 period; at Imperial War Museum, London, 1979-2002. Doctoral thesis, London University Senate House ( 1975). Retired 2002. Living in Surrey, England. Articles, reviews etc appeared in Modern Asian Studies, Journal of Indian History ( Trivandrum), Journal of Asian Studies, Social Scientist ( Trivandrum), book The Imperial Impact ed Clive Dewey ( Athlone Press), Morning Star daily ( London), Oral History journal 1998, Journal of Kerala Studies (Trivandrum) 1975, book Britain, Fascism and the Popular Front ed by Jim Fyrth 1985 Lawrence and Wishart, and elsewhere.
