Education at Universities of Cambridge ( St Catharine's), Hull, and London ( School of African and Asian Studies) 1960-1975 period. Worked teaching in English secondary schools, 1964-1978 period; at Imperial War Museum, London, 1979-2002. Doctoral thesis, London University Senate House ( 1975). Retired 2002. Living in Surrey, England.
