Edward Kaugare was born in Wedza,Zimbabwe in 1953. He was the first born in a family of six children. He was obsessed with reading novels and he was greatly inspired with works of great writters such as James Hardly Chase, Dennis Wheatly inter-alia. His great writting skills saw him nominated for literal awards. Besides being an author he worked as a printer at Edinburgh press for over a decade. Prior to his death he held the post of Production manager at Zimbabwe Publishing House. He died on the 11th of October 1995.
