             semi-autobiographic novel/ first school year of  Jewish child in post World War
             II Germany. This novel was twice recommended for the German Youthbook
             Award and was placed on the Yearly Best List by the International Youth Library
             in Munich; 
             published in 1980 in Norway by H. Aschehough & Co and cited in
             Das Dritte Reich im Jugendbuch (Agentur für wissenschaftliche Literatur
             Braunschweig, 1983).
