Robert R. Stoll, professor of mathematics at Oberlin College, received his Ph.D. from Yale University. He has been a National Research Fellow (1945-1946) and a National Science Foundation Science Faculty Fellow (1958-1959). For some time Professor Stoll has been active in developing courses which can serve to introduce college undergraduates and high school teachers to the basic concepts of modern mathematics.
