Olya Dmytriw graduated from Pratt Institute, Costume Design, with a BA in 1941, Julliard School of Music; New York College of Music; Columbia University; N.Y. University – Music and Literature. Piano soloist and accompanist in the U.S. and Canada. Radio artist, station WBYN. Cultural Director, N.Y. Metropolitan Area Committee 1946 and Ukrainian Youth’s League of North America, 1949-1952. Member:Cultural Committee, Ukrainian Congress Committee and Ukrainian Catholic Youth’s League; Lysenko Choir and N.J. Philharmonic Guild, Jersey City; Ukrainian Professional society and other Ukrainian organizations. Organizer, Pratt Institute Glee Club. Director Ukrainian Music and Dance Festival, Shevchenko Pageant, “Echoes of Ukraine” and various radio, television, dramatic shows and concerts. In addition to the “Echoes of the Ukraine” at Carnegie Hall, she also produced the “Ukrainian Day Program” at the World’s Fair, concerts at Town Hall and other programs for the Ukrainian Youth League of North America and for the UNA.
