Author: Nicolete Meredith McGuire Stack

Nicolete Meredith Stack was born in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of writer Frances Lynch McGuire. She grew up on a farm, attended the University of Colorado for one year and then went on a six-month around-the-world trip aboard the H.M.S. Franconia Floating University. She lived in Webster Groves in St. Louis, Missouri for most of her adult life. In addition to books written under her own name, she wrote some of the the Robin Kane series between 1966-1971 under the pseudonym “Eileen Hillâ€, and she is also believed to have written between five and eight books in the Trixie Belden series between 1961-1971.
