Carmelia lives in Jakarta, Indonesia. She is mom of three,
2 daughters and 1 son, name Aya, Bara, and Diaz. She graduated from
Faculty of Letter, University of Indonesia, 1989. Along 1990's she works as
reporter to cover activities of Indonesian president and vice president at palace.
She witnessed the fall of Indonesia' President Soeharto at May 1998. Her husband, Albert Roring is lecturer at University of Indonesia. Her first book was launched at palace by Vice President Megawati Soekarnoputri, November 2000. Now, she choose to write biography where she can always close to her youngest daughter, Diaz.
