Jussara Korngold, BS, MBA, was born in the city of São Paulo, Brazil. She is married to João Korngold, and they have a son, Gabriel Korngold. She is the founder and president of the Spiritist Alliance for Books (SAB), a non-profit organization, which has the sole aim to promote and disseminate the Spiritist Philosophy, in English, as codified by Allan Kardec. Mrs. Korngold is fluent in 4 languages (Portuguese, English, French and Spanish). Mrs. Korngold is also one of the founders and directors of the Spiritist Group of New York, located in Manhattan, New York City. She is a third generation Spiritist from Brazil, and has been translating and writing spiritist materials and books since 1993. Jussara Korngold is currently the vice president of the United States Spiritist Council. Mrs. Korngold is also a spiritist writer, author of three books.
Mrs. Korngold worked for The Chase Manhattan Bank for 6 years at the corporate division and at the representative office in Brazil. She also worked for 2 years at American Express, Inc. as a manager of corporate accounts, and for 2 years at Citibank as vice-president of corporate accounts. Jussara Korngold has been working as a volunteer in the office of Friends of Renascer (Associação Saúde Criança Renascer) in New York, since it’s opening in the year of 2000, as its main executive (CEO).
