Christy Shaffer of Delaware has been illustrating children's books for more than 12 years. Her primary publisher has been Dover Publications, Inc., in New York, for whom she has created a variety of memorable characters, from dragons and unicorns to carousel horses and dinosaurs. She is currently working on her 37th book for Dover. In January of this year, she and her son Garret unveiled their new project: fantasy art prints.
