According to the flyleaf of that book "she worked as a psychologist and hospital administrator before beginning her career as a successful mystery writer. She has two grown sons and lives on the north coast of California." She wrote at least 6 mysteries featuring Fremont Jones that take place in the late 1800's, mostly in San Francisco.
