Graeme John Hunt is an Auckland, New Zealand-based freelance journalist, author (10 major books, mostly New Zealand business or political history) and editor; family historian; former editor-at-large of the National Business Review, Auckland; campaigner against proportional representation in the New Zealand Parliament; and deputy chairman, One Tree Hill College Board of Trustees, Auckland (his old school). In 2010 he announced he was standing for the Auckland Council, the body running the new Auckland super-city. Hunt married Saluma Ioane, originally from Niue, in 2008 and has two adult children from a previous marriage.
