The author spent his childhood between two geographic loves, the rural solitude of his birthstate, Alabama and the bright lights of the up and coming Capitol of the South, Atlanta. Spreading his wings a bit, he did manage to venture beyond these beginning boundaries a time or two and, if you twist his arm, he may tell you a tale or two about his adventures both at home and away.
Married in 1985 to the former Jennifer Mansfield, they have five children and one grandchild (so far). If you ask him, the greatest adventures are yet to come...
