The author, Landa Marik , devotes this book to honor the memory of her parents, family and friends. I came to Northern British Columbia to join my family. The last 5 years, I have self published my latest three books using print on demand. I have worked intensely in taking photos of the most amazing spots of Northern BC, which will soon be included in my new book, “Eternal Life”, with my recent poems, short stories and autobiography. I started seeing the most spectacular views of this planet, which I never thought existed; I have visions that there will be improvements for air transportation services. Also, we need to let everyone else know of the newly expanded seaport terminal facilities at Prince Rupert and motivate people to travel by sea, train and buses to these fantastic spots. They should watch all sites, the impressive waterfalls and rivers. I compare it to a lost paradise! My short visits to Kitimat transported me to a different lifestyle; this village is so peaceful that I could hear my emotions. Through the last two decades when publishing The Maya Route Magazine, I learned to deal with remote places in Latin America. Similarly, I would do my best to promote and attract more people to Northern British Columbia.I have recently been awarded for outstanding achievement in poetry from the International Library of Poetry. For a first language English author, this is a normal thing, but for a first language Spanish author, this is an important accomplishment. I think that life is what we made of it, and not what we get out of it; especially we should try to make our dreams and illusions come true!
Now in 2012 there is a theory about the MAYA CALENDAR...the comparison to the end of the world will be when the clock is stopped, slow down or replaced by a new time devise. I know by my latest studies with WIPO that there is no possibility to invent a time machine!
