Danté Amodeo graduated high school at 17 and had a top secret security clearance with Army intelligence before he turned 18. He served in M.I. as a linguist before changing specialties. He continued in the Reserves while attending college, and since he had to pay his own way, tried a variety of different careers both during and after college.

Before he turned 35, Danté Amodeo had been a:
ballroom dance instructor,
bartender,
burger flipper,
busboy,
paralegal assistant,
computer tutor,
FM disc jockey,
licensed insurance agent,
modeling agency talent scout,
mental health worker (troubled/at-risk teens), computer repair business-owner,
network engineer,
nationally recognized seminar instructor,
and an Army officer.

His most treasured titles, however, are “husband” and “daddy.”

He is a lover of all media: movies, television, books and comics (in fact, sold the last of his comics years ago to refinance his house, sort of a passage to adulthood.) With three small children, however, he seldom has time for anything unless it is rated G. His favorite topics are fantasy, sci-fi and the paranormal, but he is not a fan of horror, gore or vulgarity in general (having children will do that to a person, he says.)

He decided to add “author” to the list of “things done” when it became apparent that the stories in his head were not going away without him writing them down first. He is currently employed as a programmer and network engineer during the day, and is finishing his second novel and first screenplay at night.
