Shary Boyle began her studies in Fine Arts at the Ontario College of Art and Design in 1994. Boyle currently lives and works in Toronto. She works as a performance artist, sculptor and painter as well as a film maker. She also collaborates with musicians, creating "live" drawings, which are animated and projected onstage during their performances. Boyle's work is raw with human vulnerability and dysfunction.
Her work has been presented in recent solo exhibitions in Jessica Bradely Art + Projects Gallery (2007) and the Power Plant (2006) in Toronto, Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery (2007) in Waterloo. Boyle has an upcoming solo exhibition at the SPACEStudio (September 2007) in London, England.
