Babak is a 15 years wireless industry veteran with experience in management, system engineering and product development in both vendors and operators sides. In his lates role he is CTO/VP Engineering & Network Operations os Skyriver communications, the largest SoCal wireless broadband service provider. In this role, Babak manage the whole engineering and operations of the company; also technology evaluation and NOC.
Babak was the co-founder of Ortiva Wireless; a leading mobile TV platform provider, in 2004. acted as Chief Startegy Officer. Prior to Ortiva, Babak led the Network Solutions Group at Wireless Facilities, Inc. (WFI), and held management roles at Motorola and O2 in the UK. Babak holds a Ph.D. in electronic and electrical engineering from King's College London and an MBA from the London School of Economics.
