Co-writer and proof-reader/editor of Dirty Ditties with Bradley Strauman and John Patrick, Steven L. Rehl was born in Superior, WI in 1954. He was an English instructor in Charlotte Amalie, US Virgin Islands in the '80's where he was introduced to Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright, John Patrick, who at the time was working on his autobiography entitled: *So Near, So Far*, non-published. Rehl began working with the playwright and did so until Patrick's demise in 1995.
