Fernando Rielo (28 August 1923—6 December 2004) was a mystical poet, metaphysician, and Founder of a Catholic Religious Institute. Rielo founded a school of thought based on a new metaphysics, called Genetic metaphysics. He established the Fernando Rielo Foundation. Said foundation annually awards the Fernando Rielo World Prize for Mystical Poetry. The religious congregation founded by Rielo is called Institute Id of Christ the Redeemer, and was founded in 1959 in Tenerife, Spain. Fernando Rielo has authored many books, mostly in Spanish and translated into other languages.
