Dr. Berry was a Professor Emeritus of Educational Foundations and Inquiry (EDFI) at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, OH. A faculty member from 1956-84, he first taught industrial arts and later, in EDFI, taught graduate-level statistics and research. In addition, he helped develop the Master’s and Doctoral Degree programs at BGSU. He served two tours of duty in the US Air Force, achieving the rank of Captain. Married for 56 years to his wife, Helen (d. 2006), they raised two daughters. Dr. Berry was an accomplished equestrian and sailor and enjoyed piloting his 14-foot Rascal around Lake Erie.
