Born in Charlotte, NC, Rickey K. Hood is proud to be a native of the Queen City. He is an award-winning poet and essayist whose work has been published both nationally and abroad. Mr. Hood has been published in many anthologies and magazines an also honored in the Marquis: Whose Who in America 2001 and 2002 editions. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Religious Studies at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2004
