Mandolins, Like Salami is a social history about the 20th century's Italian American mandolin players who populated the orchestras and ensembles in the San Francisco Bay Area. Contains 40+ photos from private and family collections, plus repertoire of the major mandolin orchestras.
The author played with several well known mandolin players and regularly plays their compositions and mandolin arrangements as well as contributing her own special arrangements for mando ensembles. The sheet music is also available at her website.
