Honenberger's first novel was nominated for the Library of Virginia Fiction award in 2007. Her award-winning short stories have appeared in Antietam Review, New Millenium, SouthLit, and The HooK, including two stories chosen by John Grisham in the 2008 HooK contest, announced at the Opening Ceremony of Virginia's Festival of the Book. Her second novel, Waltzing Cowboys, is scheduled for release in January 2009, in trade paper.
