Jean Maynard studied Art in the Graduate Liberal Studies Program at Wesleyan University, where she worked for many years. Her interest in architecture and her love of the city of Venice, FL, lead her to paint pictures of the houses there and write a brief history of the changes in design over one hundred years. Copies of this book are in the Triangle Inn at Venice and in archives at Wesleyan.
