Femi Obayori was educated at St. Augustine's College, Kabba, the University of Ilorin and the University of Lagos. He holds a PhD in Microbiology, specialising in biodegradation of hydrocarbons. He is a political activist and poet. His published works include, June 12 in Perspective, Season of Protest, Season of Betrayal, 2 Lectures on Self-Determination, The Road to Self-Determination, Gaa: The spirit of Tyranny and Theses on SNC: a Critique of Unreason. He lectures at the Department of Microbiology, Lagos State University, Lagos, Nigeria.
