As regards the academic qualification, received the M.Sc. Degree (power Electronics ), from University of Bradford, England 1980, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Electronics) from Bath University , England 1983. working at present as professor in Electrical Engineering Department. Working in the research areas of power electronics and control applications and renewable energy generations. Published more than forty papers and supervised M.Sc. and Ph.D. students. Teaching UG and PG courses, such as; Electrical Machines, Advance Electrical Machines , Advance Power Electronic Applications Drives, Power Switching Devices , Modern Control Theory, Digital Control, Nonlinear and Intelligent Control, Advance Electrical Measurements, and Computer Modeling.
