He was an outstanding student and was highly respected as a scholar in Philosophy. His papers were published in noted Philosophical journals of India,UK and USA in the remote past(1930s and 1940s).He joined Educational Department and retired as Director of Public Instruction,M.P. in June 1954 on attaining age 55. Later he served as Registrar of Nagpur University from 1956 to 1963. To the very last he was in good health and kept up his studies. His other published works were his Doctoral thesis 'Spinoza & The Upanishads-A Comparative Study' which secured for him Ph.D. from University of London in 1928 approved by the Senate - a rare honour - and his book 'Miscellanea'.
