Michael Lynn Mincy, was born in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, USA, on 29 October 1953. He attended elementary school at Browning Heights Elementary School, Haltom City, Texas, from 1959 to 1966. From 1966 to 1969, Michael attended Haltom Junior High School, in Haltom City. He attended and graduated from Haltom Senior High School, from 1969 to 1972, also in Haltom City, Texas.

Michael Lynn Mincy attended both the University of Texas, in Arlington, Texas, and Tarrant County College, from 1972 to 1985, when Michael obtained an Associate in Arts degree from Tarrant County College.

Michael suffered the personal losses of his eldest brother, his mother, and his father, between January 2004 and August 2006. Michael now lives a single life alone, at his parents lifelong home, in Haltom City, Tarrant County, Texas, USA.
