Alessandro Bianchi (Rimini 1969), architetto e dottore di ricerca, è docente presso la Facoltà di Architettura e Società del Politecnico di Milano dal 2001, e Ricercatore di ruolo nel Dipartimento di Architettura e Pianificazione (DAP) dal 2005. Si interessa, fra pratica e teoria, delle relazioni fra disegno e progetto e dei risvolti simbolici dell’opera architettonica sulla società . È autore di numerosi articoli e libri tra i quali: “La città riconoscibile” (Raffaelli Editore, Rimini 1999); “Building by Signs/Costruire per Segni: disegno, memoria, progetto” (Editrice Librerie Dedalo, Roma 2010); “Architettura. Linee e controlinee” (Angelo Pontecorboli editore, Firenze 2005). Con “La città riconoscibile” e “Architettura. Linee e controlinee” vince il Premio internazionale di Letteratura e Poesia “Nuove Lettere” 2003 e 2005, promosso dall’ Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Napoli.

Alessandro Bianchi (Rimini 1969), architect and PhD, is professor at the Facoltà di Architettura e Società of the Politecnico di Milano since 2001, and researcher in DAP, Dipartimento di Architettura e Pianificazione, since 2005. He is interested and studies, beetwen practice and theory, the relationship beetwen drawing-technique and design, and the symbolic effects of the architectural work on the whole society. He is author of many articles and books among which: “Architettura. Linee e controlinee” (Publisher Angelo Pontecorboli, Firenze 2005); “Building by Signs / Costruire per segni: disegno, memoria, progetto” (Publisher Dedalo Librerie, Roma 2010); “La città riconoscibile” (Publisher Raffaelli, Rimini 1999). Linee e controlinee” he wins the International Poetry and Literature Prize “Nuove Lettere” 2003 and 2005, promoted by Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Napoli.
