Studierte ab 1969 dei Joseph Beuys, spaeter bei K. H. Hoedicke. Meisterschuelerin. 1977 erste Einzelausstellung und Performance. 1979 Deutscher Kritikerpreis fuer das Konzept, Malerei zum Ereignis werden zu lassen. Es folgten Einladungen u. a. nach New York, Paris, Oslo, Amsterdam. Ab 1983 mehrere Gastprofessuren. 1992 Portrait im ZDF. Ab 2004 Aufnahme in Lehrbuecher. Vertreten in privaten und oeffentlichen Kunstsammlungen.
