Doug Goheen has taught English and theatre for over thirty years in Topeka, Kansas, where he was born and raised. Currently, he is theatrical director at Topeka West High School. In his honour, the the high school auditorium there was renamed the Douglas P. Goheen Theatre. He and his wife have two sons. In addition to directing, Goheen has written several works for student companies to perform.
