Netta Rachel Muskett was born 1887. Her debut novel "The Jade Spider", was published in 1927 as Netta Muskett, later she also used the pseudonym of Anne Hill. She wrote more than sixty romance novels, and continued writing until the day of her death in 1963, her last novel called Cloudbreak, was published posthumously. She was translated to several languages, including: Spanish, Portuguese, Finnish, Swedish and Danish.
Netta Muskett was vice-president of the Romantic Novelists' Association's, that created in her honour the Netta Muskett Award for new writers.
