Bella Rosenkranz lebte nach dem frühen Tod ihrer Mutter ab 1929 im jüdischen Waisenhaus in Fürth und besuchte die örtliche Schule. Im Oktober 1938 wurde die Siebzehnjährige im Rahmen der sogenannten "Polenaktion" aus Deutschland ausgewiesen. Nach dem Einmarsch der Deutschen in das östliche Nachbarland war sie gezwungen, in die Sowjetunion zu flüchten. Dort galt "die Deutsche" als "Feind" und wurde für mehr als fünf Jahre in ein Arbeitslager gesperrt. Erst 1961 durfte Bella Rosenkranz die UdSSR verlassen und nach Franken zurückkehren.

Alice Mary Weld-Blundell was born on 1 March 1846. She was the daughter of Thomas Weld-Blundell. She married Simon Fraser, 13th Baron Lovat, son of Thomas Alexander Fraser, 12th Baron Lovat and Charlotte Georgina Stafford-Jerningham, on 14 November 1866. She died on 3 June 1938 at age 92.
