Paul G. Mooney was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1958. He has worked in ministry, in Ireland, Korea and Belgium. He holds a B.D. degree from St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, Ireland, a Th. M. in missiology from the Asian Center for Theological Studies and Mission in Seoul, Korea and a Doctorate in Theology from the Faculty of Protestant Theology in Brussels, Belgium. His book on Maritime Mission is based on his doctoral thesis which he defended in 2002. Dr. Mooney is married and has two children and currently (2010) ministers to the the Foreign Congregation at Seoul Anglican Cathedral and teaches at Hyupsung University in Hwasung City and Myongji University in Seoul.
