Slavko Matkovic was born in Subotica,on May 15,1948.
Founder of the art group BOSCH+BOSCH,he was the most outstanding figure of the strategy of artistic nomadism in the Serbian art during the second half of the 20th century.He was founder and editor of the review Kontaktor 972,launched in 1972;in 1974,Matkovic-together with Balint Szombathy-ventured to publish an international art review,WOW.Matkovic's pursuits include visual,concrete and typographic poetry;interventions in space and text,Conceptual Art,projects,actions,Performance Art,new comics,painting,auteur cinema,Mail Art..Moreover,he was pursuing literature and theory of art.
Matkovic passed away in Subotica,on November 2,1994.
