Amanda Chiado is a poet and teacher originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She graduated with an MFA from California College of the Arts in 2006. Her work is published or forthcoming in Fence, The Rambler, Cranky, Shampoo, Beeswax, My Favorite Bullet, The Dirty Napkin and in various California Poet in the Schools' Anthologies. She now lives in the Bay Area with her husband Fabio and continues to write, teach and raise her daughter Isabella.
