David Earl Burnett moonlights as an LDS cartoonist and has written two books, And It Came To Laughs (2005) and Laughter Day Saints (2007). In addition to cartooning, Burnett is also a hobbyist musician and songwriter He earned a BS of Manufacturing Engineering degree from Weber State University in the late 1980s and currently lives in Gresham, Oregon with his wife, Cynthia, and his five children.
