Horace Huron was a children's music publisher, and composer from the early 1900's, he published other people's musical compositions as well as wrote his own songs. Two of his known songs are "My Papa was a Woodman", and "Brush the Frowns Away", according to the 'Catalog of Copyright Entries: Part 3, Volume 1' of the Library of Congress (LoC). And is credited with "Volunteer's Last Goodbye," by the online LoC catalog. He also wrote a joke book, which he states on its cover were 'Written Compiled Stolen and Clipped From Every Where'. On the title page of this book, below his name is the discription; "The musical Fun Maker."
