Lindi me 7 shtator 1937. U shkollua në Junik e Deçan,pastaj në Gjakovë e Prishtinë. Ka diplomuar në gjuhë e letërsi shqipe në Prishtinë. Ka punuar gazetar në "Rilindje", kryeredaktor i "Fjales" dhe i "Jetes se re". Ka shkruar këto vepra"Josip V. Rela" Prishtinë 1968,"Pesha e fjalës",Prishtinë 1971,"Shfletime",Shkup 1976,"Shenjë në lis",Prishtinë 1974 dhe Tiranë 1980."Premtime dhe realizime", Prishtinë 1976,"Qazim Tolaj- simbol i drejtësisë pedante",Prishtinë 2002,"Pesëdhjetë shkrime për poezinë" Prishtinë 2007, "Tridhjetë e një shkrime për prozën, studimet e të tjera" Prishtinë 2007 dhe "Krejt më dukej ëndërr", Prishtinë 2007,"Ali Sutaj korife i gazetarise kosovare" 2009. Në Bukureshte i eshte botuar permbledhja e tregimeve me titull :Syte e fushes". I eshte emituar nje drame televizive dhe tri radiodrama. Punimete tij jane perkthue ne rumanisht, serbisht (bashnjakishte) dhe hungarisht.
