**Jose Maria Bonifacio Escoda** y Minguez is a product of Adamson University's s Boys High School (Batch 72) and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences ( CLAS ) A.B. Psychology (1979) and Graduate School of De La Salle, Manila .
His next book will be Basketball History:Philippines (basketball in the country form 1900-present)
Escoda's first attempts in literature was poetry before acting, writing and directing a number of plays following his exposure and formal training in theater arts Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Cubao Quezon City .
He became a faculty member of Adamson University since school year 1981 teaching Spanish grammar and literature and other subjects as well, Philippine Lit., Psychology, Philosophy and others.
He contributed articles pertaining to spiritual matters (like the Divine Mercy devotion) history and sports to the major national dailies.
He contributed his knowledge as resource person in Channel 4's Hour of Great Mercy and radio station. He became co-anchor and anchorman of radio programs from 1992-94) DZXQ and DWDD ( host, Yester years) where he shared his all-around knowledge in history and religion and sports. He became the host of Pamilya of Divine Mercy Channel (a global cable network )and guests since 2002.
He is the son of prize-winning poet Ramon Escoda (Zobel Prize 1936 for a book of Spanish verses Canto del Solitario) and preWar reporter and editor of El Debate
