Prof. Claudio Mutti (geb. 1946) studierte Altphilologie, finno-ugrische Philologie und Rumänisch, lehrte u. a. an der Universität von Bologna; umfassende Forschungstätigkeit insbesondere zu den Themenkomplexen der Integralen Tradition sowie der Legion Erzengel Michael („Eiserne Garde“). Er ist Verfasser von über 20 Monographien in Italienisch, viele seiner Werke wurden in weitere west- und osteuropäische Sprachen übersetzt; in dem von ihm gegründeten Verlag „Edizioni all'Insegna del Veltro“ sind zahlreiche bedeutende Studien erschienen.
