George O. Folarin was born on 18 April 1955 in Igbeti, Oyo State, Nigeria. He graduated from ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja in Nigeria with BTh & from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the USA with BRE. He also graduated from four universities in Nigeria: University of Lagos with PGDE, University of Ibadan with MED, University of Jos with MA, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with PhD.
