Then, in 1990, he became en editor for Bernas newspaper in Yogyakarta for two years, before joined with Gramedia Majalah, a big division of Kompas Gramedia group di Jakarta. First he became editor in an entertainment tablod, Citra, for many years. The, also as chief editor in Seru! magazine. When the magazine was closed by management, he moved to Tabloid Soccer, before moved again to Primamedia Pustaka, a publishing company in Kompas Gramedia group. Now he work as journalist in a children magazine, Ori. As journalist or editor, he ever claimed that his creativity has died. Too difficult to reawaken this creative energy in writing fiction, as poem, shot story or novel. Now, he is struggling to write a novel about an urban culture and ist impacts for young men, especially about its realtion with counsumerism, and atheism.
