Nan Huai-Chin (1918-) (simplified Chinese: å—æ€€ç‘¾; traditional Chinese: å—æ‡·ç‘¾; pinyin: Nán HuáijÇn) is a spiritual teacher of contemporary China. He is the most eminent student of the renowned lay Chán Buddhist Master Yuan Huan-Xian (Ch. è¢ç…¥ä»™; 1887-1966), and he has received confirmation of his enlightenment by various masters of the Buddhist traditions. He is considered by many to be a major force in the revival of Buddhism in China.
