Osnovnu školu i gimnaziju pohađao u Varaždinu, Ekonomsko-komercijalnu visoku školu upisao je u Zagrebu , ali je nakon dva sesmetra prekinuo studije i posvetio se novinarstvu. Uređuje 1945-47 Varaždinske vijesti 1947-54 riječki Novi list 1955 zagrebački Narodni list 1956 Globus 1960-67 glavni i odgovorni urednik Plavog vjesnika 1967-74 glavni i odgovorni urednik odjela zabavnih sadržaja u Vjesniku

Zbog srčane bolesti morao se 1973. povući u invalidsku mirovinu. Od 1945. objavljuje novele, crtice, humoreske i putopise.

Pod pseudonimom Timothy Tatcher objavio je više humorističkih i kriminalističkih romana, od kojih su neki ekranizirani.
