The Institute of Archaeology is pleased to announce the date and topics for the 2009 Belize Archaeology Symposium.

This year’s symposium will be held from Wednesday July 1st to Friday July 3rd, 2009 in Belize City. Topics: “Ancient Maya Ritual and Religion in Belize” and “Archaeology in Belize: Current Research Investigations Results”.

The organizers of the symposium are particularly interested in papers that provide site-specific syntheses on any of the above listed topics.
