Graduated in clarinet with the highest mark (1985), he improved his studies with Gervase De Peyer and Dieter Klocker. He is a concert performer in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Slovenia and USA and he recorded some cds. He wrote many monographs and articles on clarinet, and some of them have been published on the main magazines such as: I Fiati (Italy), Australian Clarinet and Saxophone (Australia), The Clarinet (USA), ‘rohrblatt (Germany). Since Novembre 2007, he is partner of the Italian Society of Musicology.
